The best Italian restaurant I have ever had the pleasure of dining at, the food is great, the root beer is good, and the wait staff is top notch! I give my complements to the chefs that work hard in that kitchen. And I thank them all for the most friendly and wonderful service I received! Definitly a 5 star restaurant!
I have not had a bad or even average meal yet from this place it's like every dish is exactly how I would like it to be. The food is not buffered for taste with too much salt or butter like a lot of the higher end restaurants around here do. When I call and order they're nice and always in high spirits. All of the pasta dishes are never over/under cooked, homemade tasting and sauces are some of the best I've ever had from a restaurant. This is definitely my new favorite restaurant and will be ordering from them frequently. The deserts are pricey but insane.
Aside from the food, the restaurant itself is nice and service is friendly. We sat in the room with a large fireplace and I really enjoyed it. Call me pleasantly surprised - the next time I'm in south Jersey, I want to go to Ventura's.
Ventura's is nice and clean. The food is ok, some things are better than others. There's a nice ambiance and lots of room to fit everybody so there's not often a wait. But with all those people it tends to be noisy.
It was my first, and so far only, visit to Ventura's, and I was VERY pleasantly surprised. The steak I had here was one of the best steaks I've had in a long time.
I went with the New York Strip, and upon recommendation got the "Peppercorn" signature sauce on the side. Let me preface this by saying that I am in no way, shape, or form a sauce on steak type of guy. I like my steak lightly salted and peppered and think that the flavor should speak for itself. However, this Peppercorn sauce was absolutely unreal - I would pay for the recipe. It brought the well-cooked, tender steak to a new level of good - and I devoured it.
Ventura's is Great place for Authentic Italian dishes. A family-run business, they still have Grandma's old recipes, and they're Simply the Best! The staff is very friendly, fast, efficient, and very professional. You'll be very pleased.
